Welcome to Abundant Raw Life. I am glad that you’re here.
I’d love to know more about you, and what brought you here.
Was it mid-life blahs, and wanting to feel your best as you get older? Confusion and overwhelm about what to eat and how to live with a chronic illness that found its way to you?
Weariness from all the weight-loss programs that offer few (or time-limited) positive results?
Frustration with lack of energy, aches, pains, and lack of ability to keep up with friends and family?
I’m here to help.
You’re in the right place if…
- You know your diet needs work, but don’t know where to start to fix it…..
- You’re afraid to try yet another program, because you have a history of not following through….
- You know you could better manage your food and lifestyle with some support, encouragement, and accountability….
- You’d really like to improve how you feel, but are afraid to hope for a better, more fulfilling life….
You can feel better – a lot better.
I work with people with concerns similar to yours…helping them to lose weight, manage a chronic illness, and relieve their aches and pains. I’d love to help you too.
I admit it. I was blessed with a very forgiving body. As a girl and young woman, I ate anything I wanted, smoked
way too many cigarettes, and drank more than my share of alcohol.
I got away with it. That is, I didn’t gain weight. I didn’t get sick. Then mid-life happened. The pounds that I had never seen before began to appear and wouldn’t go away. I felt sluggish, tired, cranky, and frustrated. Was this how it was going to be? Was I stuck with a round body and barely enough energy to get through the day?
I also started to experience rising blood pressure, minor arthritis pain, headaches, and a few digestive issues. Was I to settle for all this? Was this the fate of living with middle age?
I didn’t want to give in to the idea of living the rest of my life feeling unhealthy and uncomfortable. Gradually, I made diet and lifestyle changes, and things began to turn around. I paid closer attention to my food. I tried some diet programs, which were marginally helpful for a time. I lost the smoking and the drinking. I found regular exercise, got more rest, and, in general, took better care of myself. I improved my diet. I became a vegetarian in 1994. In 2006 I was introduced to, and then embraced a very high raw food diet.
Everything. Got. Better. It took time. I can help you feel better in less time.
I firmly believe that there is no one diet that is right for everybody. My vegetarian and high raw diet is very “specialized’, no doubt. This is what works for me. It may or may not be right for you. We are different human beings. I will help you to determine what works you. I have a great track record of getting my clients amazing results because I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we’ll determine what works for you.
I have enough “hard knocks” experience along with substantial education and training to put to good use helping people like you to live into the life of their dreams – healthy, energetic, enthusiastic, confident, and with less pain and fewer medications.
I don’t dwell on fancy, time-consuming recipes, or counting calories, grams, or points. As your Health Coach I will not create lists of restrictions or good and bad foods. Instead, I will work with you to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun, rewarding, and tailored help you. We will address your specific health concerns – alleviate chronic health conditions, diminish aches and pains, achieve optimal weight, reduce food cravings, and maximize energy.
As we work together, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for you and implement lasting changes that will improve your healthy, energy, and mood.
You’re in the right place. I can help. Let’s have a conversation.
What physicians are saying
“Jane provides encouragement with a supportive amount
As an Integrative Physician, I look to address the root causes of illness. For many people chronic disease stems from inflammation, disrupted metabolism, nutrient deficiencies, and stress. These conditions are often linked to and worsened by a low quality diet and a lifestyle that is out-of-balance.I have referred several patients to Jane for nutrition education and health coaching. The feedback I receive is universally positive. Patients are pleased with the dietary recommendations, including the practical “how to” steps to make such changes.
Jane provides encouragement with a supportive measure of accountability. The results for patients are wonderful. Implementing, with Jane’s guidance, a whole food, primarily plant based diet, along with lifestyle changes, can help with all manner of chronic illness, from weight loss and diabetes to the relief from chronic aches and pains. I recommend her enthusiastically!

“I recommend her to any of my patients who want to
As a chiropractic physician I am concerned with my patients’ overall well-being. Jane has provided many of my patients with the nutritional coaching and whole food recommendations which have enabled them to not only become healthier, but learn how to make better food choices in a variety of daily settings. When their diets improve, many of the symptoms for which I treat them improve, as do their moods and general outlooks on life. Jane is friendly, supportive, and extremely knowledgeable. I recommend her to any of my patients who want to become healthier and would continue to do so for anyone interested in a positive approach to a more healthy lifestyle.
