Avocado, also known as an alligator pear, contains about 20% fat, more than any other fruit. It is loaded with vitamin E, so is great for protecting both our skin and our heart. Avocados are especially good in smoothies if you like them more creamy, or if you want them to keep you feeling full and satisfied for a longer period of time.
8-10 strawberries, with stems
2 cups dark leafy greens
1 banana, peeled
1 cup grapes (optional)
2 cups water
Blend all ingredients, adding the avocado last.
