Our daughter Monica first introduced us to this gem a few years ago. It remains a family favorite! (JWS -2017)
1 bag of fresh cranberries
2 oranges
2 apples
1 zest of orange
1 Cup of Sugar (last year I used agave nectar and it was delicious…I also only used like 1/4 Cup because I wanted it more tart than sweet, so just do it to taste. You could probably use honey, too- MST)) (2014- I used 1/3 cup Coconut Syrup –JWS)
Finely chop the cranberries, oranges, and apples. Last year we did the cranberries in the food processor but left them still pretty chunky-don’t puree them. Add the orange zest and sugar or agave nectar. Let chill together. And that is it! It is so yummy and refreshing on Thanksgiving – a good complement to the heavier dishes.
