Abundant in vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber, wakame is the king of alkaline foods. Wakame expands to approximately 20 times its size when soaked. It is very versatile and mild in flavor. This marinated seaweed salad is a wonderful way to enhance the flavor of wakame.
1/3 package wakame
1 large or 2 small cucumbers, very thinly sliced
¼ red onion, diced
2 Tbs. lemon juice
2 Tbs. Bragg Liquid Aminos
2 tsp. sesame seeds
Soak wakame in water until soft and then rinse and drain.
Slice wakame into pieces and combine with all other ingredients.
