This quick smoothie recipe is purely fruit-sweetened and packs your morning drink with a load of essential nutrients. Hemp hearts add satiating protein along with brain-boosting omega fats.
1 banana, frozen or not
1 cup blackberries, frozen or not
1-2 cups fresh spinach or other dark leafy green
3 Tbs hemp hearts
3 Medjool dates, pitted
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp cinnamon
1/2 ice (optional, if you’re not using frozen fruits)
1-2 cups cup almond or other milk*
Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth.
